Why Cristiano Ronaldo called lookalike who turned up at game ‘very ugly’

Cristiano Ronaldo had a lighthearted moment with a lookalike fan ahead of Al Nassr’s Saudi Pro League clash against Al Shabab on Friday.

The Portuguese star was among the goalscorers in a thrilling 2-2 draw, with Ayman Yahya also finding the net for Al Nassr, while Abderrazak Hamdallah and Mohammed Al Shwirekh scored for Al Shabab.

However, a viral off-field exchange before the match stole the spotlight.

A clip circulating on social media shows Ronaldo warming up in front of a fan wearing a Portugal shirt, who bears a resemblance to him.

In a playful moment, Ronaldo looked at the supporter and jokingly said, “Bro, you don’t look like me. You’re very ugly!”

Cristiano Ronaldo’s Future Remains Up in the Air

Cristiano Ronaldo is set to be out of contract at Al Nassr at the end of the season, and while reports suggest he could sign a lucrative extension, his future remains uncertain.

Several clubs are reportedly interested in securing the services of the 40-year-old forward.

Alex Bourgeois, the president of Brazilian club Portuguesa, has revealed that they plan to make an ambitious attempt to sign Ronaldo.

This comes after the club previously tried to bring in high-profile names such as Nani and Radamel Falcao.

He told CNN: “Reinforcement and rescue the pride of the Portuguese community here in Brazil, yes, that was exactly it (the attempt to sign Nani).

“We are behind and we will try for 2026, for the 2026 Paulistão, to bring in a great Portuguese. He’s the greatest Portuguese of all time, he’s the greatest personality in the world today.

“It would be great, but I can imagine how many people don’t offer anything related to Portugal to Cristiano Ronaldo, right?”
