Black Stars assistant coach Desmond Ofei confident ahead of 2026 World Cup Qualifier against Chad

Black Stars assistant coach Desmond Ofei has assured Ghanaians that the technical team is determined to guide the national team to victory in their upcoming World Cup qualifier against Chad.

Ghana are set to host Chad on March 21 at the Accra Sports stadium, followed by a match against Madagascar on March 24 in Morocco.

Speaking ahead of the crucial encounter, Coach Ofei expressed confidence in the team’s preparations and promised that the coaching staff would work tirelessly with the players to deliver a memorable performance for the fans.

Coach Ofei also urged Ghanaians to turn up in large numbers at the stadium to support the Black Stars as they push for a vital win.

“No, I think they should come in abundance. We are playing in Accra once again, what I can say from our Technical side is that we’re going to give our one hundred percent commitment on the day and with their help and support, I’m sure we will make it a very magical evening for us and start the process on qualifying to the World Cup. We’ll do everything in our power to win this,” coach Desmond Ofei said.

Ghana are second in Group I with nine points after four matches played so far.
