Ruben Amorim admits he “will not have the time” to fix Man United

Ruben Amorim has acknowledged that he “will not have the time” to fix Manchester United following their latest Premier League defeat away to Nottingham Forest.
United suffered another disappointing result on Tuesday, as an early strike from Anthony Elanga was enough to secure a well-deserved victory for Forest at the City Ground.
The defeat left United languishing in 13th place in the Premier League, heightening the pressure on Amorim’s tenure.

This latest loss marked United’s 13th league defeat of the season, leaving them just one away from their worst-ever tally in a single Premier League campaign (14).

As a result, Amorim’s tactical approach is now under intense scrutiny, with the Portuguese manager admitting that his time at Old Trafford may be running out.

“In Manchester United, you don’t have the time,” Amorim said to reporters after the game. “I will not have the time. We have to get it right fast.
“In here, the pressure is too big sometimes. We start the game suffering a goal and put Nottingham in the place they want to be — defending with lots of men — then they have really fast players to make transitions.
“We push forward but again, in the final third, we were not good enough.”
Amorim must find quick solutions to address the team’s ongoing struggles. The pressure is unlikely to ease, especially with a massive derby clash against Manchester City looming at Old Trafford on Sunday.
