Manchester United get Amad injury return hint

Manchester United winger Amad Diallo has been spotted working hard in the gym at the club’s Carrington training ground, as he aims for a return to action before the end of the current season.
The 22-year-old has been sidelined since suffering an ankle injury in February.
The Ivory Coast international had been a key player in Ruben Amorim’s plans this season, and despite his absence, remains the club’s second-highest goalscorer.

Initially, it was expected that Amad would be ruled out for the rest of the season, but Amorim recently expressed optimism that the former Sunderland loanee could make a return before the 2024/25 campaign concludes.
A positive update from the club on social media has fuelled hope that Amad’s recovery is progressing well.

“Even Amad, we will see in the end of the last month,” Amorim said last month. “I don’t want to say anything but I have the hope to have Amad before the end of the season.”
Amad barely missed a minute under Ruben Amorim, and the 40-year-old coach will be eager to have another attacking option available before the end of the season.
Operating both as a wing-back and an attacking midfielder in Amorim’s 3-4-2-1 system, Amad has enjoyed an impressive campaign, racking up nine goals and eight assists.

His standout performances also earned him three Player of the Month awards.
By the time Amad was sidelined, only captain Bruno Fernandes had matched his goal tally across all competitions for the Reds.
Since then, the Ivorian has remained a supportive presence off the pitch, cheering on his teammates while working hard to regain full fitness.
