Medeama coach Ibrahim Tanko targets victory over Dreams

Medeama will be aiming to halt Dreams five game winning run

Medeama SC head coach Ibrahim Tanko is determined to get his side black to winning ways as they host in-form Dreams FC at the TNA Stadium on Friday night.

The Mauve and Yellows have been impressive at home in the Ghana Premier League this year, with five wins and one draw from six matches.

The only blemish on their home record came against Hearts of Oak , but Tanko is confident that his side can continue their momentum.

“We want to keep our momentum at home,” he said. “When you look at the away matches we lost, we were the better team. But definitely we didn’t score that one and we lost that one.”

Tanko will aim to bounce back from last weekend’s defeat to Accra Hearts of Oak and will be hoping to silence the Believe Boys and reaffirm their stronghold at the TNA Stadium.

Tanko added: “I think that we are going to approach the game like the way we are approaching our games and when you look at the goals we conceded, it’s a mistake from us and that is what we are we have been working on at training,” Tanko told the club’s website.

“So I am sure when they [fans] come on Friday they will have their peace to watch the game and hopefully they will go back with happiness.”
