Flick says Lewandowski’s return date is unknown for now
Flick reveals Barca unsure of Lewandowski’s injury return date

Hansi Flick has opened up on Lewandowski’s injury return date, revealing that the club is currently unsure of when he can accurately return to the pitch to lead the attacking line.
On Saturday afternoon in Barca’s home fixture against Celta Vigo, Lewandowski was taken off in the second half after a challenge on an opposition player, and reports indicate that he raptured a tendon in his thigh that could have him out for about three weeks.
Flick has weighed in on that conversation and says the date of Robert’s return is unknown as of now, yet what is clear is that the team will have to see off games without him in the coming weeks.
Speaking in his pre-match presser in the Barca-Mallorca clash, Flick said : “Lewandowski?.. When he is ready to play and return, we will be happy about that. At the moment, we do not know how long it will take and we do not want to say anything either.”
Flick also revealed in the presser that Ferran Torres is likely to lead Barca’s line of attack in the coming games considering the incredible run of form he is on in this campaign.
Barca have a tough fixture list coming up with two games each against Real Madrid and Inter Milan in the space of a fortnight.

Flick will be hoping his squad proves they can grind results without Lewandowski but appears confident that the veteran striker can make it in time to feature in some of those fixtures.
