With the summer transfer window approaching, United are expected to target a new striker
Man United remain interested in signing key Crystal Palace player

Manchester United are reportedly keeping tabs on Crystal Palace striker Jean-Philippe Mateta as a potential signing, should their pursuit of Ipswich Town forward Liam Delap fail to materialise, according to GIVEMESPORT.
With the summer transfer window approaching, United are expected to target a new striker, as both Rasmus Højlund and Joshua Zirkzee have yet to meet expectations.
However, these two players are not the only ones under scrutiny, and United could look to bolster multiple areas of the squad.

Delap, who enjoyed an impressive breakthrough season in the Premier League, is likely to attract attention from various clubs this summer.
The 22-year-old forward’s £30m release clause will be activated following Ipswich’s relegation, making the race for his signature potentially highly competitive.
Manchester United are actively exploring attacking options ahead of the summer window, with Mateta emerging as a viable alternative should they fail to land Delap.
United’s plans for the upcoming transfer window include pursuing additional attacking reinforcements, but the situation surrounding Delap’s availability remains uncertain.

Man United are still unclear about their standing in the race for Delap. If they are unable to secure his signature, they will need to turn their attention to other options.
This uncertainty has reportedly led to United speeding up their pursuit of Wolves forward Matheus Cunha, who is versatile enough to operate as a centre-forward, though United’s main plan is to deploy him in an attacking midfield role.
Should Delap’s move to Old Trafford fall through, Mateta could become a more prominent target.
Crystal Palace are currently in negotiations to extend the French striker’s contract, but if the terms cannot be agreed upon and Mateta expresses a desire to join Manchester United, the Eagles may have to consider a potential sale.
