Amad Diallo returns to the Man United squad to face Athletic Club in the Europa League on Thursday
Man United forward Amad Diallo named in Europa League squad

Manchester United forward Amad Diallo has been named in Ruben Amorim’s Europa League squad in their semi-final encounter against Athletic Bilbao on Thursday.
Amad Diallo has returned to contention for United ahead of their UEFA Europa League clash in Spain after being out through a season-ending injury since February, before they clashed with Tottenham.
Amad, whose injury report suggested he could be out for the rest of the season, is back on the training pitch at Carrington ahead of their trip to Spain and could be in line to make his first appearance from his injury layoff.

The winger has 36 appearances for the Red Devils this season, contributing nine goals and eight assists.
The 22-year-old’s potential return to United’s squad comes as a big relief to Amorim after the player enjoyed success at the right wing-back position for the manager in his early United start.

United are 14th in the Premier League table, and their last hope of a successful season hinges on glory in Europe.
Amorim’s squad will also be boosted by the return of Matthijs de Ligt, who has been out since the start of April due to an ankle injury but is also nearing a return to the first team.
United play Athletic in Spain on Thursday, with the return leg taking place at Old Trafford next week, after their Premier League clash with Brentford this Sunday.
