Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta provides positive update on Kai Havertz injury

Mikel Arteta has revealed that Kai Havertz could return to action before the end of the season, offering a major injury boost for Arsenal.
The German forward has been sidelined with a hamstring injury since January, and initial reports suggested he would be out until the start of next season.
However, Havertz’s recovery has progressed better than expected, and Arteta believes he could make his comeback later this month, just as Arsenal continue their push for a place in the Champions League final.

The Gunners are set to host Bournemouth on Saturday evening, knowing that a win would almost guarantee their qualification for next season’s Champions League.

With the second leg of their semi-final against Paris Saint-Germain coming up next week – PSG leading 1-0 after the first leg – Arteta emphasised the importance of keeping focus.
He stated that he would speak to his players to ensure they are not distracted when facing the Cherries.
“The only thing we can control is our performances, emotional state,” he added. “There are still a lot of things we want to do in the Premier League.
“We have to earn the right to win the game by being better against Bournemouth. It’s a lot of Ifs.
“The most important one is to increase the probabilities of winning our game. That’s the most important thing.”
