Man United are under pressure to meet financial fair play regulations
Man United set £65m price tag for Alejandro Garnacho amid Chelsea interest

Manchester United have informed Chelsea that they will need to pay at least £65million for Alejandro Garnacho this summer, according to the Daily Star.
The Blues attempted to sign the Argentine winger during the last transfer window but were unable to reach an agreement.
However, the London club remain strongly interested in Garnacho and is expected to make another move for him at the end of this season.

Garnacho, who has also caught the eye of Napoli, is open to leaving United after struggling to secure regular starts under manager Ruben Amorim.
However, he would seek assurances from Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca that he would play a significant role in the club’s future plans at Stamford Bridge.

With Chelsea’s large squad and high player turnover, Garnacho wants to ensure that a move to London would be the right decision for his career.
Any potential transfer, however, hinges on another club meeting United’s valuation.

Garnacho is under contract at Old Trafford until 2028, and United have no intention of selling him for a bargain price.
Despite this, United’s hierarchy, including co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe, are open to selling most players provided the price is right.
United are under pressure to meet financial fair play regulations and are also looking to raise funds for new signings under Amorim.
As a result, players like Kobbie Mainoo, Luke Shaw, Manuel Ugarte, Casemiro, Rasmus Højlund, Matthijs de Ligt, Joshua Zirkzee, and Christian Eriksen could be sold.
It is believed that the only players considered untouchable in this scenario are Bruno Fernandes, Harry Maguire, Amad Diallo, and Patrick Dorgu.
