Bruno Fernandes given deadline by Al-Hilal to decide on Saudi Pro League move

Al-Hilal’s final offer is said to be around £700,000 per week

Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes has been given until Thursday to make a final decision on a potential move to Saudi Pro League giants Al-Hilal, who have submitted their final contract offer, according to GIVEMESPORT.

The Red Devils recently missed out on silverware in the 2024/25 season, allowing Tottenham to end their 17-year trophy drought by defeating them in the Europa League final.

This disappointment has prompted manager Ruben Amorim to consider squad changes ahead of the transfer window.

Meanwhile, Manchester United are close to securing their first signing of the summer.

A verbal agreement is reportedly in place for Matheus Cunha’s £62.5million transfer from Wolverhampton Wanderers.

However, Amorim’s side now face the possibility of losing their captain, Bruno Fernandes, who has been given a strict deadline by Al-Hilal to decide whether he will accept their offer.

Following the Europa League final defeat, Fernandes admitted uncertainty over his future at Old Trafford.

Key figures at the club may view the upcoming transfer window as an opportunity to refresh the squad, potentially cashing in on the Portuguese playmaker.

Al-Hilal’s final offer is said to be around £700,000 per week, with the total package – including accommodation, flights, signing bonus, and performance-related incentives – amounting to nearly £65million per year.

Despite their aggressive pursuit, Manchester United remain confident Fernandes will stay.

With the deadline approaching, the club are prepared to move on to other targets if Fernandes declines the offer.

Securing marquee signings is a priority as they prepare to compete in the fast-approaching Club World Cup.
