Tottenham Hotspur are looking to rebuild under new coach Thomas Frank, who signed from Brentford, and have identified Bournemouth attacker Antoine Semenyo as an ideal candidate for their attacking area, leading to an enquiry about the player.

According to a report from journalist David Ornstein, the Ghanaian international will be interested in a potential move to Spurs; however, Bournemouth’s valuation of the forward is deemed too high.

The 25-year-old has been linked with several clubs this summer, including Manchester United, but has been deterred by the player’s value of £70 million.

It was reported that Semenyo has already held initial talks with United officials ahead of a possible switch to Old Trafford this summer.

Ornstein posted on his X ( Twitter):

“Tottenham Hotspur have enquired to Bournemouth over Antoine Semenyo. #THFC possibility appeals to 25yo winger but #AFCB valuation of Ghana international deemed too high & Spurs (like Manchester United) not proceeding at present.”

Semenyo enjoyed a strong campaign in the 2024/25 season, scoring 11 goals and providing six assists in the Premier League.

In total, he racked up 42 appearances, netted 13 times, and registered seven assists for the Cherries across all competitions.

Chelsea, Man United, and Arsenal have all been linked with the pacey winger, meaning Spurs could face stiff competition for his signature.

Despite the growing interest, Semenyo only signed a new long-term contract with Bournemouth last season, keeping him at the club until 2029.

Spurs have already completed the signing of Mathys Tel from Bayern Munich for £30 million on a long-term deal.
