Rashford appears to have no future under Ruben Amorim at Man United
Barcelona advancing on deal to sign Marcus Rashford

Barcelona have been heavily linked with a move for several forwards this summer, including Liverpool’s Luis Diaz and Manchester United star Marcus Rashford.
According to The Athletic, the La Liga champions are advancing with a move to sign Rashford.
Barca have made an offer via intermediaries to loan the England international next season and the proposal includes an option to buy.

It is believed that Man United have agreed to the idea, and although it is not yet a done deal, talks between all parties are now at the final stages.
The Red Devils have stripped Rashford of the iconic No.10 shirt to hand it to summer signing Matheus Cunha.
Rashford, who has worn the number since 2018, has been made available for transfer.

The England international appears to have no future under Ruben Amorim, who authorised Rashford’s loan move to Aston Villa in January.

Rashford was notably absent from United’s 32-man squad for their post-season tour of Asia, which followed their 2-0 victory over a 10-man Villa side.
Prior to his move to Villa, manager Amorim disclosed that Rashford left the club because he couldn’t get the attacker to see eye-to-eye with him.
“I couldn’t get Marcus to see the way you’re supposed to play football and to train the way I see it,” Amorim said.
“Sometimes you have one player that is really good with one coach, and the same player with another coach is different.
“I wish the best to Rashford and to [Villa manager] Unai Emery, and they can connect because he’s a very good player.”
