Sowah joins the Msimbazi Reds from fellow NBC Premier League outfit Singida Black Stars, following an impressive season in which he showcased his prolific goal-scoring prowess.

His consistent performances attracted interest from several top African clubs, but Simba moved quickly to secure his signature—demonstrating their intent to challenge for honors in the Tanzanian Premier League and the CAF Champions League.

The club confirmed that all transfer and registration formalities have been successfully completed.

The 25-year-old striker initially made headlines during Medeama SC’s 2022/23 Ghana Premier League title-winning season, where he played a pivotal role—netting 12 goals and providing an assist in 20 league appearances.

His standout displays earned him a place in the Ghana national team, receiving a call-up to the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations under then-head coach Chris Hughton.

Sowah is expected to add firepower to Simba’s attacking lineup as they prepare for another competitive season on both fronts.
