His move comes after a brief loan stint at Vision FC during the second half of the 2024/25 season, where he struggled for regular playing time.
Asante’s arrival marks Aduana Stars’ seventh signing of the transfer window, following the acquisitions of Godfred Boakye, Gregory Obeng Sekyere, Mezack Afriyie, Charles Kamara Gyamfi, Patrick Mensah, and Stephen Kwakye.
Having spent two seasons at Hearts of Oak, Asante’s most notable campaign came in 2022/23, during which he made 25 appearances across the Ghana Premier League and CAF Confederation Cup.
He recorded one goal and one assist, showcasing glimpses of his ability to influence games from midfield.
Now under the guidance of coach Cioba Aristica, Asante will be looking to reignite his career and play a pivotal role in Aduana Stars’ push for success in the upcoming season.
