The energetic left-back is expected to bolster Saint-Étienne’s squad as the club targets promotion back to Ligue 1.

Speaking after his unveiling, Annan expressed his excitement:

“I’m very happy to sign for AS Saint-Étienne. The club is building a strong team with great staff and incredible support from the fans. It’s an honour to be part of this project. I’ll give my all in every match to help the team reach its goals.”

Annan began his European journey in Italy, joining Bologna’s U19 side before gaining experience with loan spells at Imolese and Novi Pazar, eventually earning a move to Red Star Belgrade.

At Saint-Étienne, he reunites with his compatriot Augustine Boakye, further strengthening the Ghanaian presence at the club.

“Ebenezer is a powerful left-back who brings great energy to his flank. He’s come from Red Star, a big club used to pressure and high-stakes games. His international experience with Ghana is also valuable. We’re eager to start working with him.”

Now set to wear the number 19 shirt, Ebenezer Annan embarks on the next chapter of his career in France.
