The contingent included the playing body, technical team, and management, who all received words of encouragement and prayers from the Chief Imam.

Goldstars will represent Ghana in both the Ghana Premier League and the CAF Champions League this season.

Their qualification for the continental stage comes after clinching the 2024/25 league title, the club’s first-ever Premier League trophy.

The Miners will begin their maiden CAF Champions League campaign against Algerian giants JS Kabylie in the preliminary round.

The first leg will be played in Ghana between September 19–21, 2025, before travelling to Algeria for the return fixture scheduled for September 26–28, 2025.

Before their continental assignment, Bibiani Goldstars will feature in the GHALCA Top Four, which kicks off tomorrow at the University of Ghana Stadium.

They will come up against FA Cup champions Asante Kotoko, Hearts of Oak, and Heart of Lions in the pre-season competition.
