Ayi joins as a free agent following the expiration of his contract with Dreams FC at the end of the 2024/25 campaign.
The experienced shot-stopper is among several Ghanaian players currently featuring in the Ethiopian top flight, as he looks to revive his career.
Ayi previously played for Hearts of Oak, where he won the Ghana Premier League and FA Cup double in 2021, ending the club’s long title drought.
He began his career with Techiman City FC before moving to WAFA SC, where his performances earned him a switch to Hearts. He has also represented Ghana at the U23 level.
