Serie A giants AC Milan have reportedly decided to end their association with Chelsea’s Joao Felix, who will return to London in the summer. Despite a promising start to his stint in Milan, where he scored on his debut, Felix has struggled to make a significant impact, leading to a re-evaluation of his role at the club.
According to Daniele Longo, Milan had two options to extend their deal with Chelsea for Felix’s services. The first option would have required the Rossoneri to pay between €41 million and €45 million this summer, while the second option would have seen them extend the loan and commit to buying Felix permanently for around €30 million in the summer of 2026.

However, Milan’s hierarchy has opted against pursuing either option, effectively ending Felix’s time at the San Siro. This decision comes despite the club yet to appoint a new sporting director, highlighting the conviction behind the move.
Felix’s arrival at Milan was facilitated by super-agent Jorge Mendes, who also represents manager Sergio Conceicao. However, with both Felix and Conceicao reportedly set to leave the club in the summer, Mendes’ influence at Milan is expected to diminish.
