Onana’s time in the Premier League has been a mixed bag

Chelsea, on the other hand, were actively pursuing Onana alongside Manchester United in the summer of 2023. Goalkeeper has been a significant concern for Chelsea since Thibaut Courtois’ departure to Real Madrid in 2018.

His replacement, Kepa Arrizabalaga, struggled to impress, and Edouard Mendy’s tenure lasted only three seasons before he moved to Saudi Arabia, with Robert Sanchez brought in as his replacement shortly after Onana’s transfer to United.

Onana’s time in the Premier League has been a mixed bag, with standout saves interspersed with high-profile mistakes. As a result, rumors of a potential move away from United have started to circulate.

Despite the speculation, Onana is determined to stay at Manchester United and has no plans to leave at the end of the season.
