A win for either side will be crucial in the race for qualification. Madagascar is yet to make an appearance at the Mundial while Ghana has already made four appearances.
“Ghana has great players who play in major European leagues, [but] in football, anything is possible. We have to play the same kind of game in order to stand a chance of winning points from Ghana,” Martins said in a video released on Sunday
“We’re going to play our way. We’re going to try to annoy them [Black Stars] as much as possible. This game is not decisive on Monday because there are four other games still to be played,” he added.
The game between Ghana and Madagascar will take place at Mimoun Al Arsi Stadium in Al Hoceima at 19:00 GMT.
