Atletico Madrid considering summer move for Man United loanee Antony

Atletico Madrid are reportedly considering a summer move for on-loan Manchester United forward Antony following his strong performances at Real Betis.
Since joining the Spanish side on loan in January, the Brazilian winger has flourished, proving his worth after a difficult time at United.
Once labelled one of the worst signings in English football history, Antony is now showing signs of redemption and may attract interest from several clubs seeking to make his move permanent.

Despite United’s worst-ever Premier League campaign this season, the club will not be disappointed with the loan arrangement.
By sending Antony out on loan, United could recoup part of the significant investment they made to bring him to Old Trafford, as his market value has started to rise again.
According to The Independent, Atlético Madrid are reportedly interested in signing the Brazilian and may face competition for his signature – a sharp turnaround from just a year ago, when a permanent sale seemed unlikely.

Antony has contributed nine goals and five assists in 25 appearances for Betis. He could also finish the season with a trophy if Betis manage to overcome Chelsea in the Conference League final on Wednesday.

Regardless of what happens next summer, Antony will have earned a place in the hearts of the Betis supporters.
Back at United, following their disappointing defeat in the Europa League final, the focus now turns to the final Premier League game of the season against Aston Villa.
A loss could see the Red Devils finish 17th, just one place above the relegation zone.
Conversely, a win combined with dropped points for West Ham and Wolves could lift them as high as 14th.
