MTN FA CUP: Attram De Visser edge PAC Academy to reach last four

Attram De Visser booked their place in the semi-finals of the MTN FA Cup after a dramatic 4-3 penalty shootout victory over PAC Academy at the Baba Yara Stadium.
The tightly contested quarter-final ended 1-1 after regulation time, with PAC Academy initially taking the lead through an Evans Sarfo penalty.

However, Gabriel Matumasser’s late equaliser ensured the tie would be decided from the spot.
In the shootout, Godwin Attram’s side held their nerve, converting four of their five penalties.
PAC Academy, on the other hand, saw Samed Kyei and David Mensah miss crucial attempts, ultimately sealing their exit from the competition.
Attram De Visser now advance to the last four for the first time in their history, keeping their dreams of FA Cup glory alive.
Also, Berekum Chelsea booked their place in the semis of the competition after beating Bechem United 1-0.
The goal came from Stephen Amankona, the golden boot winner of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season.
Later on Sunday, Asante Kotoko will be in action against True Democracy while Karela United will battle against Golden Kick.
Kotoko (9 trophies) remain the only club left to have won the competition in the past.
