Bayer Leverkusen star Florian Wirtz reaches agreement with Bayern Munich

Florian Wirtz has reportedly reached an agreement with Bayern Munich over a summer move to the current Bundesliga champions, pending formal negotiations with Bayer Leverkusen.
Wirtz has made up his mind weeks of negotiations between his representatives and Bayern.
The Leverkusen star is said to have snubbed English giants Manchester City and Real Madrid to agree a deal with Bayern, but a summer transfer could still be blocked as Leverkusen are reluctant to sell to its direct rivals.

The 22-year-old has seen his stock rise after his fantastic form for club and country which has attracted interest from the likes of Real Madrid and Manchester City as well as Bavarian giants.
The German international has reportedly confirmed his readiness to leave Die Werkself in the next transfer window to get out of his “comfort zone.”

According to Bild, Wirtz and Bayern have an agreement in place, and the former Koln youth academy player has closed all doors to accepting an offer from City or Madrid.

Despite Alonso reportedly set to be appointed as Real Madrid boss in the summer after confirming his imminent exit, Leverkusen seems reluctant to sell to their direct rivals.
The reports also reveal talks between the two clubs have not yet begun, with Bayern reportedly prepared to pay over €125m to land him.
