Bayern Munich in talks with Thomas Müller, Leroy Sané and Eric Dier over new deals

The futures of the three players have been the subject of speculation in recent months

Bayern Munich director Hasan Freund has revealed that the club is in talks with Thomas Müller, Leroy Sané, and Eric Dier over new deals.

The announcement comes as the futures of the three players have been subject to speculation in recent months.

Müller, in particular, has seen his playing time limited this season, and it remains to be seen whether he will choose to extend his stay at the Allianz Arena.

Müller’s situation is complicated, with the 35-year-old’s minutes unlikely to increase next season if he were to stay.

While he is widely expected to take on an important role at Bayern Munich once his playing career is over, Müller is reportedly keen to continue playing.

Bild reports that he would prefer to embark on another adventure, with a move to the American MLS having been previously linked.

In contrast, Eric Dier appears to have convinced Bayern Munich that he deserves a contract extension. The former Tottenham man has proved to be a valuable back-up in defense since joining the club in January 2024.

With Dayot Upamecano potentially out for the season, Dier is expected to see plenty of game time in the coming weeks. A new contract is reportedly imminent, with Dier set to put pen to paper in the near future.

Leroy Sané’s future, however, remains uncertain. Despite being a key player for Bayern Munich, Sané’s current deal expires this summer, and there are currently negotiations taking place to extend it.
