Bayern Munich reach agreement with Chelsea star Christopher Nkunku

Bayern Munich have reached a full agreement on personal terms with Chelsea star Christopher Nkunku for a move to the Bundesliga this summer.
According to journalist Florian Plattenberg, the French forward is poised to join the German champions, but Vincent Kompany’s side are considering a loan move instead.
Meanwhile, the West London side are only interested in sanctioning a permanent transfer for the French international.

Nkunku has been linked with multiple European clubs during the summer transfer window, including Bayern, as Chelsea seeks to offload players to balance their finances and make room for new signings, such as Manchester United’s Alejandro Garnacho and RB Leipzig’s Xavi Simons, who are targeted for moves to the Club World Cup champions.
The 27-year-old versatile forward joined Chelsea in 2023 for a staggering £52 million with lofty expectations, but has since struggled to meet them, prompting a potential departure to secure regular playing time and bolster his chances of making France’s 2026 World Cup squad.
