Black Queens anticipate tough encounter against Senegal

The head coach of the Black Queens of Ghana, Kim Lars Björkegren, is expecting a tough encounter against the Teranga Lionesses of Senegal this afternoon.
The women’s national teams of Ghana and Senegal will face off in an international friendly match on Saturday, April 5, as part of preparations for the 2025 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations tournament.
Speaking in a pre-match interview on Friday, Coach Kim Lars Björkegren noted that his team is ready for the showdown. He stated that his team is keen on playing well to secure victory at the end of the match.

“The game against Senegal tomorrow. I think it’s going to be a tough one. They play physically. It’s going to be a good game for us. We need to move the ball fast, but if we do that, I’m sure we have the potential to win the game,” Coach Kim Lars Björkegren told the media team of the Ghana FA.
The Black Queens will need to be at their best to overcome the physicality of the Teranga Lionesses. Coach Björkegren’s team has been preparing well for the match, and they will be looking to use their speed and agility to outmaneuver their opponents.
