Molde FK Kvinner manager Erlend Holmlund expressed his excitement about Badu’s signing, saying, “Considering Evelyn’s young age, she has extensive experience throughout her time in the Toppserien with Avaldsnes and most recently in the French top division for FC Fleury 91. As a player, we are getting an offensively-minded type who can play several different roles, with good technical skills.”
Badu’s signing is the fifth addition to Molde FK Kvinner’s squad this year, and her experience and skills are expected to strengthen the team’s offense.
With her solid track record and impressive performances, Badu is set to make a significant impact in the Norwegian league.
Badu’s career has been marked by impressive performances, including her time with Avaldsnes IL in Norway, where she scored 3 goals in 47 games over two seasons.
She also played for FC Fleury 91 in France, scoring 1 goal in 13 appearances. The former Hasaacas Ladies star was named the 2022 CAF Women Youth Player of the Year and the CAF Women Interclub Player of the Year.
Badu recently scored Ghana’s only goal of the game against Senegal, kickstarting the Kim Lars Bjorkegren era as the new Black Queens coach in Dakar.
