Man United have compiled a list of transfer targets
Bundesliga star emerges as summer target for Manchester United

Xavi Simons has become a key target for Manchester United this summer, but Ruben Amorim’s transfer strategy could ultimately depend on securing a spot in next season’s Champions League, according to the Daily Mail.
United have remained in contact with RB Leipzig over the attacking midfielder, who is one of several options the club is considering ahead of the summer transfer window.
Simons, 21, offers the versatility and profile that would fit well into Amorim’s system.

However, the Dutch international is unlikely to come cheap.
The young talent has also attracted interest from Bayern Munich and Manchester City, while Liverpool have been keeping an eye on him throughout the season.
In January, Simons made a permanent move from Paris Saint-Germain to Leipzig for £48million, plus add-ons, but he could be sold for a quick profit this summer.

United have compiled a list of transfer targets, with striker Liam Delap at the top. If Ipswich are relegated from the Premier League, Delap would be available for £30million.

Although United are favourites to sign the forward, they face stiff competition, with Arsenal the only Premier League club not reportedly chasing him. Interest in Delap is also strong from Spain and Germany.
Other alternatives, such as Wolves striker Matheus Cunha, Simons’ Leipzig teammate Benjamin Sesko, and Bournemouth forward Antoine Semenyo, would all cost over £60million.
These players also have interest from clubs vying for Champions League football.
However, Amorim also wants to strengthen in other areas of his squad.
Manchester United would only be able to afford such transfers if they win the Europa League and secure a place in the Champions League for next season, which could bring in up to £100million in additional revenue.
