Huijsen has a release clause set at around £50million
Chelsea and Liverpool battle for Dean Huijsen amid Real Madrid interest

Chelsea and Liverpool are both vying to sign Dean Huijsen this summer, while Real Madrid continue to monitor the highly rated Spanish centre-back, according to The Independent.
The 19-year-old has been one of Bournemouth’s standout performers this season, with the south-coast club bracing for significant interest in several of their key signings.
Huijsen’s situation is simplified by the fact he has a release clause set at around £50million.
Both Chelsea and Liverpool have been actively searching for a new centre-back and are simultaneously working on deals to bring the young talent to their respective clubs.

While Chelsea are believed to have made more progress in negotiations, Huijsen’s future remains uncertain.

Liverpool’s pursuit could also be affected by Virgil van Dijk’s contract situation, as the 33-year-old has yet to agree on a new deal at Anfield.

Real Madrid are also keeping an eye on the situation but has not pursued a deal with the same intensity as their English counterparts.
Despite this, the Spanish giants believe they will have a significant advantage should it come down to a bidding war, given their position as one of the most powerful clubs in world football.
Huijsen was born in Amsterdam to Dutch parents but qualifies to play for Spain, having moved to Marbella at the age of five.
He made his debut for the Spanish national team this March, in a Nations League quarter-final win over the Netherlands, the country of his birth.
