Chelsea are keen to battle it out with Manchester City for the signature of Michael Olise
Chelsea join race to sign Bayern Munich star Micheal Olise

Chelsea have shown keen interest in joining the race with fellow Premier League giants Manchester City to sign Bayern Munich star Michael Olise, according to reports from German publication BILD.
The former Crystal Palace winger has become one of the household names in the German Bundesliga and on the European scene since his move a season ago. Dishing out outstanding performances consistently.
The French International has bagged five goals and six assists in nine outings across all competitions so far this season. Seamlessly taking over the mantle from Jamal Musiala since his injury earlier in the season.

Olise again showed brilliant form as Bayern put Cypriot outfit Pafos to the sword on Tuesday, while recording a goal and two assists in Bayern’s comfortable 5-1 Champions League win.
The 23-year-old has attracted immense transfer interest due to his consistency and potential to be even better than what we are witnessing now.
In addition to City and Chelsea, other elite European clubs like Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain regard him as a significant acquisition, should they have the chance to sign him from Vincent Kompany’s squad.

Liverpool, however, has reportedly identified him as a long-term successor to Mohamed Salah and will continue to monitor his progress.
Reports have indicated that his English suitors, especially Liverpool, would be willing to pay up to €100 million for the Frenchman next summer. Meanwhile, Bayern are actively negotiating a new contract for their 2024 signing.
He is expected to renew his contract with the German Champions on a five-year deal, which will see a significant pay rise to bring him in line with Bayern’s best-paid players.
Olise currently earns a base salary of €12 million per season, with up to €4 million in potential bonuses.
