Rasmus Hojlund came off the bench to score the winner for Denmark against Portugal
Cristiano Ronaldo has “no problem” with Rasmus Hojlund for copying “Siu” celebration

Cristiano Ronaldo has stated that he has “no problem” with Denmark striker Rasmus Højlund mimicking his iconic “Siu” celebration after scoring the winning goal against Portugal on Thursday.
The Manchester United striker was accused by some of disrespecting the Portugal veteran following Denmark’s 1-0 victory in the first leg of their Nations League quarter-final.
Ronaldo, a five-time Ballon d’Or winner, expressed that he does not believe Hojlund’s actions were disrespectful.

“For me, it is not a problem,” the Portugal captain said before Sunday’s second leg in Lisbon.
“This is not because he don’t have respect for me. I’m smart enough to understand that not only him, but around the world, other sportspeople do it, my celebration.
“For me, it’s an honour. But I hope that tomorrow you can see my celebration, not [that] I still see his celebration.”

Al-Nassr forward Cristiano Ronaldo admitted that the “air is more tense” around the Portugal squad following a disappointing performance in the first leg.
However, he defended head coach Roberto Martínez amid growing scrutiny.
“I think it’s unfair to criticise the coach, because we’re all in the same boat,” added the former Real Madrid and Man United player.
“We lost the game and played badly, but we have the second leg tomorrow. Calm down. Think positive and think that things will go well.”
Rasmus Hojlund Defends Celebration
Rasmus Hojlund has already defended his celebration after coming off the bench to score the winner for Denmark against Portugal, stating that he wasn’t mocking his “idol” Cristiano Ronaldo.

“It was not to mock him or anything, I’ve always said he has had great importance for me and my football career,” Hojlund told Danish broadcaster TV2.
“I’m playing against the world’s best footballer, my idol, and to score and become the [match] winner, it couldn’t be better.
“Scoring against him and Portugal is huge, I went to see him in 2009, where he scored from a free-kick, and I’ve been a fan ever since.”
