Dembele hails Messi as ‘the best ever’ in intriguing Barca revelation

Paris Saint Germain marksman Ousmane Dembele says Lionel Messi is the greatest player he has ever seen after sharing the pitch with the Argentine for five years in Spain.

Dembele, who has been involved in over 30 goals this season for the Parisians revealed that although he played with Lionel Messi at Barcelona, he seems to be finding his best self with PSG in France.

Asked about what team he thinks is the best ever in the game, Dembele hinted on the brilliance of Messi’s era at Barcelona, but wouldn’t say for sure if he believes that the Catalan side is the best club in football history.

“I love playing for this PSG team, for sure, It is a pleasure to play here”, the 27-year-old said.

“The best team in history?… I don’t know, as I also played at Barca with Messi who’s the best player ever”, he added.

In 42 matches this term, Dembele has scored 34 goals and assisted on seven different occasions. Now, he is considered one of the front runners of the Ballon d’Or after his consistent run of performances with PSG, who are already Ligue 1 winners and are on course to making it back-to-back UEFA Champions League semi final appearances.
