Dreams FC Secure Back-to-Back Away Wins in Ghana Premier League
Dreams FC continued their resurgence in the Ghana Premier League with a hard-fought 1-2 away victory over Heart of Lions at the Kpando Park on matchday 20.
Goals from Joseph Esso and Kofi Marshah propelled the Still Believe Lads to their second consecutive away win, following their triumph over Accra Hearts of Oak on Saturday.
Dreams FC drew first blood when Joseph Esso converted a penalty kick in the 17th minute. However, the hosts quickly equalized through Nana Oppong.
In the second half, Lions dominated possession but were unable to breach Dreams’ resolute defense. Against the run of play, Kofi Marshah Kofi restored Dreams’ lead, securing a crucial three points for the Still Believe Lads.
Despite late pressure from Lions, Dreams FC held firm to register a back-to-back away victory, moving them out of the relegation zone to 12th place with 27 points. Hearts of Lions remain third with 37 points.
