Ebony FC appoint Thomas Duah as head coach ahead of Division One League debut

Newly promoted Ashanti Regional Division one side, Ebony FC, have appointed former AshantiGold SC gaffer Thomas Duah as their new head coach ahead of the 2025/26 season.
Duah will take over the reins of the club following a successful negotiation with the club hierarchy.

The ‘Home of Football’ outfit recorded an impressive unbeaten run throughout last season having finished as the champions of zone five before subsequently beating Benab FC by 2-1 in the Middle League to emerge regional Division 2 champions and to secure qualification into the country’s second-tier
A statement on the club’s website stated,
Ebony Football Club is pleased to announce the appointment of Thomas Duah as the new Head Coach ahead of the 2025/2026 Access Bank Division One League season.
Thomas Duah, former Ghanaian international and former Coach of AshGold SC brings valuable experience and a strong tactical presence to the technical team.
His arrival is a significant boost as the club looks to build a competitive squad for its maiden Division One League campaign.

The club is aiming to be competitive in what is traditionally one of the toughest Division One zones in Ghana, featuring experienced sides like Skyy FC, Pac Academy and New Edubiase United.
Duah’s experience at the top level could be pivotal as Ebony FC seeks to continue their fairytale rise and potentially challenge for promotion to the Ghana Premier League in the near future
He featured for a series of clubs notably AJ Auxerre and German side FC St. Pauli and also the Black Stars in his active playing days
Ebony FC will compete in Zone 2 of the Access Bank Division One League next season.
The team has been preparing at the Bantama Astro Turf ahead of the 2025/26 season.
