Paul Pogba’s 18-month doping ban ends today, March 11, 2025, and reports from Italy suggest the French midfielder has several potential destinations to restart his career.
Pogba, who has been sidelined since failing a doping test during the Udinese-Juventus match, is now free to return to action 569 days later.
Initially banned for four years, his suspension was reduced to 18 months, making him available as a free agent starting today.
Several Clubs Interested in Signing Pogba
The 2018 France World Cup winner has spent the past few months with his family in Miami, and with David Beckham’s Inter Miami offering a potential landing spot, it’s seen as a natural fit for the former Juventus and Manchester United player.
The Saudi Pro League could also be a lucrative option.

Many French players, including N’Golo Kante and Karim Benzema, have joined the league, and former Juventus director Pavel Nedved’s recent appointment as sporting director of Al-Shabab could make the Saudi club an attractive destination for Pogba.
In Europe, the only club currently showing interest seems to be Marseille.
Club director Mehdi Benatia has not ruled out the possibility of bringing Pogba in for the 2025-26 season.
The last time Pogba played a full 90 minutes was exactly three years ago, on March 12, 2022, in Manchester United’s 3-2 victory over Tottenham at Old Trafford.
