Ghana forward Zubairu Ibrahim undergoes successful surgery

Ghanaian forward Zubairu Ibrahim is facing a long spell on the sidelines after sustaining a serious knee injury while in action for Partizan.
The 20-year-old has been in sensational form for the Serbian side, but his impressive run was cut short when he picked up a serious injury during a match against Radnicki.
The injury occurred during matchday 30 of the Serbian Super Liga, where Partizan defeated Radnicki 2-0.
Zubairu lasted for only 35 minutes before Young Jun Goh replaced him due to the injury setback. He was stretchered off the field and immediately transported to the hospital for treatment.
Zubairu has since undergone a successful surgery and is expected to spend time on the sidelines to recover fully. The club posted on their social media handles following the surgery, with Zubairu expressing his gratitude to the fans for their support.

Zubairu has been an integral part of Partizan’s success this season, making 29 appearances in the league and scoring nine goals while making three assists.
The Ghanaian forward joined the Serbian giant following a successful spell at Jedinstvo, where he showcased his skills and caught the attention of Partizan’s scouts.

Prior to joining Partizan, Zubairu was also the captain of Ghana’s National U20 team during his time at King Faisal.
His impressive performances at the youth level paved the way for his move to Europe, where he has continued to excel.
The injury is a significant setback for Zubairu, but he is expected to make a full recovery and return to the pitch stronger than ever.
