The season-long deal, which includes an option to buy, will see the 22-year-old striker feature in the 2025/26 campaign as he seeks to reignite his career.

Amedspor, formerly known as Büyükşehir Belediyespor, announced the transfer on their official channels, expressing delight at landing the highly rated attacker.

A statement on the club website read,

“We believe that Felix Afena Gyan will make significant contributions under our green-red jersey, we wish him success in his Amedspor career,  hoping that this transfer will bring good fortune to our club.”

Afena-Gyan first burst onto the scene in November 2021, scoring a sensational brace against Genoa on his AS Roma debut under José Mourinho.

His explosive displays quickly made him one of the most talked-about young forwards in Italian football.

Following limited opportunities with Roma, he joined Cremonese before spending last season on loan at Juventus Next Generation.

Afena-Gyan is hopeful he can spearhead the club’s push for promotion to the Turkish top flight.
