GPL 2024/25 : Medeama aim to halt Dreams’ winning run

Medeama will be hoping to return to winning ways after suffering a defeat against Hearts of Oak

Medeama SC will host Dreams FC in a crucial Ghana Premier League match at the Tarkwa and Aboso Stadium in Tarkwa on Friday night.

The Mauve and Yellow are looking to bounce back from their 1-0 defeat to Hearts of Oak in their previous league match, which saw them slip two places down the league table to 7th.

Medeama SC has been impressive in front of the goal, scoring 27 goals in the league, joint-most with other teams. They have also been solid at home, with the fifth-best home performance in the league.

The Mauve and Yellow will be eager to snatch the maximum points on Friday.

Dreams FC, on the other hand, is riding high on a five-game winning streak, without conceding in four of those games.

The Believers are currently 8th in the league table with 36 points, having scored 17 and conceded 17.

They have been impressive on the road, with two successive wins at Hearts of Oak and Heart of Lions.

Attention will be on Razak Salifu who has scored four goals in his last seven games for Dreams.
