Hearts of Oak midfielder Seth Osei seeks contract termination after just eight months

Hearts of Oak midfielder Seth Osei has requested the termination of his contract, only eight months after joining the club.
According to reports by Pure FM in Kumasi, the winger, who has not featured in any of Hearts’ league games this season, has officially informed the club’s hierarchy of his decision to part ways.

The report further indicated that Osei refused to train on Tuesday and Wednesday, making his desire to leave even clearer.
Since the arrival of head coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani, the former AshantiGold playmaker has fallen down the pecking order. He was not involved in the GHALCA Top Four tournament and has yet to make an appearance in the ongoing 2025/26 Ghana Premier League campaign.
Osei returned to Ghana in January after a spell with South African Premier League side TS Galaxy, signing a two-year deal with Hearts of Oak following protracted negotiations.
However, he has since managed only eight league appearances in the Phobians’ shirt.
With limited opportunities under the current technical team, it now appears increasingly unlikely that he will play a role in Hearts’ plans going forward.
