Hansi Flick says he doesn’t understand why some fringe players reacted the way they did for not playing
‘I don’t understand the reaction’ – Hansi Flick to angry Barcelona players

Hansi Flick is a bit surprised, saying he “doesn’t understand the reaction” of some Barcelona players who reportedly reacted angrily to not playing against Celta Vigo.
Flick tells angry Barcelona players to ‘accept’ his decisions as they close in on La Liga title and Copa del Rey showdown with Real Madrid.
The German coach spoke out after Ansu Fati and Héctor Fort’s anger over the lack of playing time, making it clear that he will not tolerate certain attitudes.
Flick reacted in a press conference before the match between Mallorca and Barcelona on matchday 33 of La Liga 2024/25 on Tuesday, at the Son Moix Stadium.

The Catalan club team arrives at the game in great form, after a sensational comeback victory (4-3) against Celta Vigo over the weekend.
One of the biggest topics that dominated the German coach’s appearance before the press was undoubtedly the message he sent to players who aren’t getting much playing time under his management.
Earlier on, there were reports of the Fati and Forti showing signs of frustration in the dressing room after the Celta clash.
It was reported that Fati, upon returning to the locker room, punched a refrigerator and a chair on the bench, and Fort was also seen showing signs of disappointment for not getting a run-in on the game.

“I understand that some are unhappy, disappointed, or sad. I’ve been a professional player myself.
“Everyone wants to show that they’re part of the team, that they can contribute something to achieving our goals.Â
“I understand the feeling, but not the reaction. It’s something that has to be accepted.
“We came back from 3-1 down and made the right decisions. That’s what the players should see.
“When they play, we want to see them reacting appropriately. That’s what’s important. Not what happens during the match. Normally, everyone celebrates victory,” he noted.
