Former FC Barcelona manager Xavi Hernandez has revealed he’s exploring a return to the technical bench this summer after a season’s break from coaching.

Barca replaced the World Cup winner with German tactician Hansi Flick, who has got the team firing in all departments this term.

Speaking in an interview with France Football, Xavi revealed his plans for next summer and how he fared as Barcelona coach, indicating a new move on the cards as he’s taken a big lesson from coaching his boyhood club

“Yes. I want to win the Champions League, the Euro, the World Cup. I am open. Why not coach another La Liga team? I am looking for an exciting project. Why not also take charge of a national team?”

During Xavi’s time at Barcelona, he managed a total of 143 games, securing 91 victories, 29 draws, while suffering 23 losses at the club. His return to active coaching is one many clubs in dire need of a good manager will be exploring come June 2025.
