Jose Mourinho suggests Turkish title was pre-determined

Jose Mourinho has claimed that the Turkish title “was decided before the league even started” as Galatasaray near another triumph.
The Special One watched his Fenerbahce side lose on Sunday, leaving their rivals in control of the title race.
Mourinho’s Fenerbahce were defeated by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Besiktas, with Gedson Fernandes scoring the only goal of the match.

Solskjaer, who replaced Mourinho as Manchester United manager in 2018, led his team to victory in what was a damaging defeat for the former Chelsea boss.
Following the loss, Mourinho directed his frustration at Turkey’s footballing authorities.
Galatasaray have been dominant in Turkish football recently, aiming for their third consecutive title this season.
While they are on the verge of being crowned champions again, Mourinho has suggested that the destination of the title was determined long before the first match of the season.
Throughout his time in the Süper Lig, Mourinho has frequently criticised Turkish authorities and referees, and his latest comments have once again reignited his feud with the powers that be.

However, he feels his words have had little impact on changing the landscape of Turkish football.
He said: “When some of your players don’t perform well enough, it affects your collective performance as well. The outcome of the league was determined before the league even started.
“The games we lost at home were decisive. VAR decisions, referee decisions. I am so tired of talking about these. I have no power, nothing changes, but this is the situation, this is the truth.”
Fenerbahce remain in second place but have struggled to put pressure on their rivals throughout the season.
Mourinho’s side have only suffered three losses in the league, yet they have earned just one point from their two encounters with Galatasaray, leaving them eight points adrift.
