Kylian Mbappe missed part of the training session through muscle pain on the eve of the Madrid derby
Kylian Mbappe misses Real Madrid training ahead of Atletico clash

Kylian Mbappe missed the majority of Real Madrid’s team training session on Tuesday due to muscle discomfort, club sources revealed.
This comes ahead of their crucial Champions League last-16 second-leg clash against Atletico Madrid.
Mbappe spent most of the session indoors, working individually at the club’s facilities.
However, officials confirmed that he joined the group for the final 30 minutes of training, assuring that his availability for Wednesday’s derby is not in doubt.
Real Madrid head into the match with a narrow advantage after securing a hard-fought 2-1 victory over their city rivals at the Santiago Bernabeu last week.
The French forward’s fitness has been under scrutiny since he missed Madrid’s Spanish Cup clash against Real Sociedad two weeks ago following a tooth extraction.

Since then, he has delivered underwhelming performances in three consecutive matches, scoring just once and being substituted in two of them.
Manager Carlo Ancelotti has faced repeated questions regarding Mbappe’s form but has firmly denied any undisclosed injury concerns.
However, he remained tight-lipped about his starting lineup for Wednesday’s showdown.
“I have more than eleven players for this match, those who don’t play will also contribute in some shape or form… A well-made change can make a difference,” Ancelotti told a press conference on Tuesday.
“A derby is always a very close game. Sometimes we win and sometimes they win. Tomorrow it will be the same. It will be decided by small details.”
