Liverpool are reportedly set to pay £130m to sign Michael Olise from Bayern Munich
Liverpool set to break transfer record for Chelsea target Michael Olise

Liverpool are set to break their own transfer record once again in the Premier League to sign Chelsea target Michael Olise from German giants Bayern Munich, according to reports.
Liverpool currently holds the Premier League and club record for the highest transfer fee paid in the summer for both Florian Wirtz and Alexander Isak.
According to Fichajes, Liverpool is prepared to pay close to €150 million (£130m) for Olise. The potential deal, if completed, would surpass the £125 million fee they paid for Alexander Isak from Newcastle United.

The French international has established himself as one of the brightest young attacking players in European football, and he has been outstanding in the Bundesliga since moving from Palace to Bayern last season.
The 23-year-old registered 43 goal contributions last season, and has adapted to life in the Bundesliga more quickly than initially expected.
Earlier in the month, reports indicated that Chelsea had joined the race with several Premier League suitors, including Liverpool, Manchester City, and French Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain, for the winger’s signature.

The former Palace star has bagged five goals and six assists in nine outings across all competitions so far this season, and continues to show improvement as the days go by.
With Liverpool being linked with the superstar, this comes as no surprise, considering his previous experience in the English elite league, and he could make an instant impact at Anfield.
Liverpool appear to be seeking a high-quality, long-term successor for their talisman, Mohamed Salah, now in his 30s, with Olise emerging as a potential ideal signing.
However, they will have to fend off competition from Chelsea, PSG, and Man City, all of whom could benefit from additional quality on the right flanks, with the 23-year-old offering a significant boost.
It remains uncertain whether Liverpool can finalize the deal, while Bayern are also reportedly engaged in active negotiations with the player to extend his contract after just one season.
The former Chelsea and City academy product is expected to renew his contract with the German Champions on a five-year deal, which will see a significant pay rise to bring him in line with Bayern’s best-paid players.
Olise currently commands a base salary of €12 million per season, with up to €4 million in potential bonuses.
Bayern are reluctant to part with a key player like him, and the outcome remains uncertain. However, an offer nearing €150 million could prove challenging to refuse.
