Al-Hilal are reportedly preparing a significant offer for United’s top scorer
Man United boss Ruben Amorim keen to keep Bruno Fernandes amid transfer speculation

Ruben Amorim has acknowledged the growing transfer speculation surrounding Bruno Fernandes but insists he wants to keep the Portuguese star at Old Trafford.
Rumours have intensified around Manchester United’s captain following a turbulent season for the club.
Reports suggest interest from the Saudi Pro League, with Al-Hilal reportedly preparing a significant offer for United’s top scorer.

Despite United’s struggles in the Premier League, Fernandes has had a standout campaign, contributing 19 goals and 18 assists across all competitions and helping the team reach the Europa League semi-finals.
Now 30, Fernandes faced similar speculation last summer but committed his future to the club by signing a new contract in August, keeping him at United until 2027 with an option for an additional year.
Amorim, determined to reshape United’s fortunes, is reluctant to lose such an influential figure and remains hopeful of keeping his captain at the club.

“I think it is easy to understand that [transfer speculation], not just because of the numbers but the way he plays,” said Amorim.
“He is a top player and we need to top players. He is a leader, the captain. It is natural that people want Bruno, but we want to keep him. He is one of the top players of the world.”
Earlier in his tenure at Manchester United, Amorim made the bold claim that his side was the worst in the club’s history.

Now, with the team on the brink of reaching the Europa League final, the 40-year-old manager was asked to reflect on those comments.
“I think you have to see the quotes in the moment, so things can change. If you look to the Premier League, since I arrive, we are the worst team since I arrived.
“At the end of this season, we can be the worst team in Premier League history with a European title.
“This season has been really disappointing for everyone, but nothing is going to change. In that moment, sometimes I have to think a little bit more.”
