Man United considering signing former goalkeeper from Serie A

Manchester United are reportedly considering the signing of former goalkeeper Vanja Milinkovic-Savic from Serie A giants Torino back to the club in the summer transfer window.
Per the reports, United would want to “explore potential summer move” for the goalkeeper starring in Serie A amid inconsistencies from Andre Onana and Altay Bayindir’s.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Ruben Amorim’s side have made “initial contact” with Torino and are ready to “explore a potential summer move” for Milinkovic-Savic.

United are keen on the Torino shot-stopper, having seen their two goalkeepers struggle throughout the season. However, the Red Devils are waiting to hear back from the Serie A side regarding price.
The Torino shot-stopper is himself flattered by a move to the Premier League after an impressive season in Serie A and is thought to be ready to entertain a move in the next transfer window.

Milinkovic-Savic began his career at Old Trafford back in 2014 but was released due to issues of work permit in England.
The Serbian goalkeeper moved on to Polish side Lechia Gdańsk and later signed for Torino in 2017.
Before becoming the first choice at Torino, he enjoyed loan spells at SPAL, Ascoli, and Standard Liege.

The 28-year-old is known for his physique and stature, mostly compared to a giant,. He stands at 6ft 8in tall, some three inches higher than PSG stopper Gianluigi Donnarumma.
The situation for the former goalkeeper could materialize depending on his price tag and also United’s plans for the current stoppers.
Andre Onana is said to be open to an exit from United to the Saudi Pro League after an underwhelming season, while back-up Altay Bayindir’s future at the club also remains uncertain.
