Newcastle United have identified Man United’s Marcus Rashford as an ideal profile for next season
Man United outcast Marcus Rashford emerges as Newcastle target

Manchester United outcast Marcus Rashford has emerged as a strong target for Newcastle United this summer.
Rashford, who has been exiled at Old Trafford, last featured for the Red Devils in December and enjoyed a successful loan spell out to Aston Villa for the second half of the season.
The 27-year-old forward impressed at Villa Park, bagging four goals and providing six assists in 17 appearances in all competitions, but his future remains a matter that needs attending to.

The English international has a contract that runs until 2028, and sees him pocketing £315,000 per week. However, his wages could prove to be a bottleneck to any transfer.
But according to The Sun, Newcastle are ready to move for Rashford this summer and take him out of his United misery.
The report claims that the Magpies are positive in their quest to provide the forward with an ideal platform to rebuild his career, while they also offer him Champions League football.

United have placed a £40 million price tag on Rashford and would like to facilitate a permanent exit, but the report goes on to add that Newcastle are rather keen to sign him on a loan deal.
Rashford, who has been at the club from the age of seven, made his debut in 2016 – a potential Rashford sale would count as pure profit in their Profit and Sustainability Rule(PSR) calculations.
Rashford is poised to play in the Champions League as the England forward aims to secure a place in Thomas Tuchel’s World Cup squad next summer.
Rashford was called up by Tuchel back in March, but he was absent from this month’s internationals after missing the final period of the season due to a hamstring injury.
The Seaguls view Rashford as an alternative option to support star striker Alexander Isak, who is expected to stay at St James’ Park this summer despite being viewed as an ideal signing for several clubs.
