Mbeumo is anticipated to attract bids from several Premier League clubs
Man United ready to enter race for £60m-rated Bryan Mbeumo

Manchester United are preparing to join the race for Bryan Mbeumo, with competition for the £60million-rated Brentford forward expected to intensify during the upcoming summer transfer window, according to the Telegraph.
Mbeumo, 25, is anticipated to attract bids from several Premier League clubs at the end of the current campaign and is understood to be a key target for United as they look to strengthen Ruben Amorim’s squad.
Newcastle United have expressed a strong interest in the French-born Cameroon international, while Liverpool have previously been linked with the forward in earlier transfer windows.

United are expected to be active in the market, with Amorim seeking to reshape his team ahead of his first full pre-season and full campaign at Old Trafford.
He had acknowledged that it was a risk to allow Marcus Rashford and Antony to leave in the January window, but their departures were seen as beneficial for the team’s long-term future.
In addition to Mbeumo, United have also expressed interest in Wolves striker Matheus Cunha, who has a £65million buyout clause.
However, Cunha has predominantly been effective as a central striker, while Mbeumo is regarded as one of the Premier League’s top wide forwards.
United’s interest in Mbeumo is independent of any potential deal for Cunha.

United have been mindful of Premier League profit and sustainability regulations after reporting losses over the past five years.

However, the club could raise funds through player sales, with the market value of Rashford and Antony having increased following their respective loan spells at Aston Villa and Real Betis.
Mbeumo, who faced United in a 4-3 Premier League win at the Gtech Community Stadium on Sunday, was signed from Troyes in 2019 for around £5.8million.
Since then, he has emerged as one of Brentford’s most astute signings, helping the club earn promotion from the Championship and firmly establishing himself in the Premier League.
He has enjoyed an impressive season, scoring 18 goals so far.
