Man United to lose out on signing Porto goalkeeper Giogo Costa

Manchester United could be hit with disappointment over the signing of FC Porto’s top goalkeeper Diogo Costa in a summer move, as the European giants intend to drive up his asking price.
United’s hopes of signing the €75 million-rated shot-stopper reportedly hang on a tight rope with other big clubs, Manchester City and Bayern Munich joining the train.
With Andre Onana’s struggles in the season visible, United are revealed to be in search of a potential successor come next season.

According to A Bola, via Sport Witness, United, City, and Bayern are keeping tabs on Porto keeper Diogo Costa.
The Portugal international reportedly has a €75m release clause and could potentially be on the move this summer, despite having just over two years left on his contract.

The report further adds that Costa will be in the center of attention this summer as he prepares to be in goal for Portugal in the semi-final of the Nations League and will be with Porto in the United States for the Club World Cup.
The Red Devils are said to be prepared for an exit for first-choice goalkeeper Andre Onana, while Ederson is reportedly expected to leave Man City this summer, and Bayern need a long-term successor for Manuel Neuer.
If the 25-year-old can impress in the coming weeks, perhaps that €75m price tag may skyrocket, leaving United to risk losing out on signing Costa in the summer as a potential replacement for Onana.
